Marietas Islands Snorkel Expedition

Discover the Marietas Islands National Park, a protected marine ecosystem just off the coast of Riviera Nayarit. This expedition is focused on exploring the islands from the water and enjoying an immersive snorkeling experience surrounded by dramatic volcanic rock formations, caves and abundant marine life.

Spend time snorkeling in the clear waters around the islands, where you may encounter colorful tropical fish, rays, sea turtles and other marine species depending on the season and ocean conditions. Above the water, the islands are home to an incredible variety of seabirds, including the iconic blue-footed boobies, brown boobies, frigatebirds and other coastal species.

Unlike our Marietas Islands Full Expedition, this experience does not include a visit to Playa Escondida. Instead, we focus on snorkeling, observing wildlife and exploring the protected islands and their unique ecosystem from the ocean. Snorkeling equipment and drinks are included.
