Sacred Jungle Expedition

A spiritual journey through the jungle and into the living worldview of the Wixárika people.

Walk at a relaxed pace through the coastal jungle between Sayulita and San Pancho, following a moderate trail toward the secluded shores of Malpaso Beach. More than a hike, this expedition offers an opportunity to experience the landscape through the eyes of the Wixárika (Huichol) tradition, where nature, spirituality, and ancestral knowledge are deeply connected.

Led by Santos, a native Wixárika guide, the experience brings together the natural beauty of the jungle with the cosmovision, traditions, and spiritual significance of the land. Along the trail, Santos shares stories, knowledge, and perspectives passed down through his community, including the importance of certain places as spaces for spiritual connection and ceremony. The expedition is intentionally intimate and respectful, offering a deeper understanding of the relationship between the Wixárika people and the natural world before reaching the peaceful shores of Malpaso Beach.
